Slope Monitoring using Total Station: What are the Challenges and How Should These be Mitigated?
AbstractThe purpose of this study is first, to provide a mine survey perspective on the typical problems that can be expected during slope monitoring using total station (also known as prism monitoring) and second, to suggest ways of mitigating such problems. The aim is to create awareness of the implications of incorrect use or negligence during slope monitoring surveys utilising a total station.
