A note on the use of anticholinergics in the management of duodenal ulceration

Abstract

There is at present no good evidence that anticholinergic drugs, which cost the patient  a lot of money, either (i) hastell the relief of the symptoms caused by a duodenal ulcer, (ii) promote the healing of the ulcer, or (iii) lessen the chances of the ulcer recurring or developing complications.
