Taxonomy of Methods of Conflict Resolution

Abstract

Conflict is an ineluctable existential phenomenon and the perception and style of addressing it can render it violent or constructive. A beneficial method of resolving conflict translates to a positive approach of changing conflict to a beneficial and harmonious outcome. Consequently,in this work, we attempt a discursive classification of the methods or approaches of conflict resolution and would conclude with the recommendation of peace-oriented and harmonious methods as the veritable panaceas for conflict.
