Abstract

This study is aimed at comparing the probability value (p–value) of various hypotheses tested with the specified level of significance á at 5% level. The study used data obtained from Hajiya Gambo Sawaba Government General Hospital, Kofan Gaya, Zaria and other related examples to achieve this objective. The study involved the development and validation of the reasoning about p–values and statistical significance scale. The study finally  recommends the use of p–value to take care of the probability of committing a type I error.
