Abstract

A search of the literature has not revealed any reference to the development of the reproductive tract of the male springbok or any quantitative studies of the age of appearance of the various germ cells in the spermatogenic cycle. Such a study would be of importance in
making recommendations for the practical management of young rams and was the object of the present work.
