Dr Phil Joffe was a senior lecturer in the Department of English, University of Natal, where he specialised in contemporary literature and popular culture. He now lectures genre studies, public relations and strategic corporate communication in Culture, Communication and Media Studies, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban.He also writes as a freelance journalist and teaches yoga and exercise classes at various Virgin Active gyms.
