Non Piluitary Surgery in a patient with Acromegaly complicated by Dilated Cardiomyopathy: Anaesthetic challenges.

Abstract

The anaesthetic management of patients with acromegaly, a rare clinical syndrome, for urgent non pituitary surgery has little documentation in the literature. We report such a case further complicated by dilated cardiomyopathy. The anaethetic challenges in the face of limited resources are highlighted.
