Abstract

In order to seize objectively the phenomene of written communication. Bibliometrics resort to different techniques : Direct citation. counting, Bibliographic coupling, co-citation analysis and studies of obsolescence. Furthermore, the numerous quantitative five studies were culminated by emergence of bibliometric laws namely, Bradford's law, Lotka's law and Zipf's law.
