Conflict resolution among Niger delta communities: A historical perspective

Abstract

Conflict related issues have assumed endemic proportion in the Niger Delta. A
proper assessment of the critical factors in motion must take cognizance of their
historical underpinnings. Peaceful co-existence, the hallmark of conflict resolution,
can be feasible in the Niger Delta, through sustainable dialogue. These, among
others, is what this paper seeks to bring to the fore.
