Peer Review

The articles received are first subjected to initial evaluation to know if the articles fall within the scope of AUJST. They are also screened for plagiarism. If found okay, the authors are asked to pay the initial review fee of five thousand naira (N5,000). The articles are then subjected to a standard double-blind peer-review by two reviewers. The Editorial Board compares the reviewers’ reports before acceptability and giving out the reviewed manuscripts to the authors for corrections as recommended by the reviewers.
Corrected manuscripts sent back for consideration are thoroughly checked to ensure that the contributors effect all the necessary corrections as observed by the reviewers before the articles are finally accepted for publication (with a publication charge of twenty thousand naira (N20,000).
Before final publication a galley proof is sent back to the author for a final look. The consent of the author(s) will be needed for online publication.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The articles in Anchor University Journal of Science and Technology (AUJST) are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided you give appropriate credit to the original author(s) and the source, and indicate if changes were made.

Subscription infromation:

Authors are given a copy of the hard copies free of charge, while extra copies attract charges (currently N5,000 per copy) depending on the prevailing market at the time of publication.

As an open access journal, copyright on Anchor University Journal of Science and Technology (AUJST) is retained by the author(s). Authors grant AUJST a license to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher. Authors also grant any third party the right to use the article freely as long as its integrity is maintained and its original authors, citation details and publisher are identified.
