Impact of Business Education in Enhancing Sales Volumes of Retail Businesses in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State

Abstract


This study investigated the impact of business education in enhancing sales volume of retail business in Ohaozara local Government Area of Ebonyi State. Ninety (90) respondents formed the population of study. The instrument of data collection was a well structured and pretested questionnaire. Two research questions were formulated to guide the study. Data collected from the respondents were presented, analyzed and interpreted using mean statistics. The results showed that Business education helps to improve managerial competence of retailers in Ohaozara Local government area. It was recommended that business men and women be advised to have basic knowledge of business education for the development and growth of their business. Retailers should also be trained on the need for a good customer relations and business education.
