Abstract

Young people’s attitude towards entrepreneurship contributes tremendously to the rapid increase in innovation. Income and social economic status of people also have strong effect on innovation because in developing countries, stronger payment ability and higher income level enables more people to spend more on a particular product. In such situations, consumer’s level of income has strong effects on attitudes towards innovation. The success of IT innovation therefore depends on individual attitudes. Earlier experience is regarded as motivating factor in identifying individual’s attitudes towards innovation since past experience of using similar technologies contribute tremendously to favourable attitudes towards it. Such experience as computer or internet use experience strongly influence usage attitudes of a specific system due to perceived durability or ease of use. Other factors that had significant influence on innovation and the ability of individuals to accept changes include gender, age and the mechanical ability of end-users.
