Io non ho paura: Usare i film Senza Timori
AbstractThis article explores ways of using Italian film sequences with students at lower levels of proficiency alongside and in a complementary fashion to a grammaroriented coursebook. It illustrates how scenes from contemporary films can be exploited to promote pragmatic awareness and extend the range of language available to the students for communication purposes. The possibilities offered by DVD technology to adapt the use of films to suit different levels of learners’ abilities are also discussed.
