On steady viscous hydromagnetic heat transfer flow through an annular partially filled with porous media

Abstract

This paper examines steady state hydromagnectic heat transfer flow of incompressible electrically conducting fluid through an annular in the presence of porous media. The dimensionless forms of the equations were solved analytically using perturbation method to obtain the velocity and temperature. Expressions for the skin-friction and Nusselt number were derived. The effects of Grashof number Gr, Prandtl number Pr, suction/injection λ, Stark number R, porous media K and Magnetic parameter M on heat transfer in the flow were discussed and presented graphically.
