A numerical study of the hemodynamics of stenosed artery
AbstractIn this paper, the non-Newtonian flow of blood in large blood vessel is studied by using Eyring–Powell model. We also assumed a variable blood viscosity. The momentum equation for the flow is non-dimensionalized and the resulting non-linear dimensionless equation is then solved numerically under various flow conditions. Variations of different flow parameters are conducted and discussed.
