Catalogue of Generators of Interest in Mathematics

Abstract

Mathematics is a compulsory subject at both primary and secondary schools. A credit pass in mathematics is one of the admission requirements in science and Engineering courses in all Nigeria universities. Unfortunately, students have very low interest in the subject. This paper tries to highlight some of the causes of student low interest in mathematics and also lists some ways of generating student’s interest in this indispensable subject.
