Les representations sociales des musees par les jeunes de la commune de Ouidah au Benin

Abstract


La participation culturelle des jeunes reste un élément fondamental de la vie sociale. Ainsi, les musées sont des institutions culturelles qui contribuent à cette perspective. Mais, il est à constater que les visites muséales sont presque absentes des activités culturelles des jeunes. Le présent article propose une analyse des fréquentations muséales des jeunes à travers l’identification et l’interprétation de leurs représentations sociales dans la commune de Ouidah au Bénin en vue d’une meilleure éducation pour une intégration culturelle et sociale harmonieuse.

English Title: The social representations of museums by the youth of the Ouidah Community in Benin

English Abstract

The cultural participation of young people remains a fundamental element of social life. Thus, museums are cultural institutions that contribute to this perspective. However, it should be noted that museum visits are almost absent from the cultural activities of young people. This article proposes an analysis of the museum associations of young people through the identification and interpretation of their social representations in the commune of Ouidah in Benin with a view to better education for a harmonious cultural and social integration.
