Contribution de la tomographie par coherence optique au diagnostic de la neuropathie optique toxique

Abstract

La tomographie par cohérence optique (OCT) est devenue un outil diagnostique très important en neurophtalmologie. Dans un grand nombre de cas, le profil OCT apporte à la fois une aide diagnostique et une évaluation de l’importance de la neuropathie optique. Parmi les étiologies de la neuropathie optique, il y a la toxicité médicamenteuse. Nous rapportons deux cas cliniques de neuropathie optique toxique détectés à l’aide de l’OCT chez des patients suivis en psychiatrie.

English Title: Contribution of optical coherence tomography to toxic optical neuropathy

English Abstract

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) has become a very important diagnostic tool in neuro-ophthalmology. In many cases, the OCT profile provides both diagnostic help and facilitates the assessment of the importance of optic neuropathy. Among the etiologies of optic neuropathy, there is drug toxicity. We report two clinical cases of toxic optic neuropathy diagnosed with OCT in patients followed in psychiatry.
