Infanticide in an Outpatient Psychiatric Unit of a University Teaching Hospital in Nigeria. A Case Report

Abstract

Infanticide is a rare complication of post partum psychiatric disorders most especially depression and psychoses. In this paper, a case of infanticide in a 17 year old girl with post partum schizophrenialike disorder is reported.
