Abstract

As we move into a technology-based society, the use of technology-based teaching strategies in the training of tomorrow’s workforce has become inevitable. The purpose of this study is to examine undergraduates’ level of exposure to technology-based teaching strategies, and to further determine if such level is a function of their area and year of study. A sample of 624 students was randomly selected from Cross River University of Technology students. A questionnaire was the instrument for data collection and three null hypotheses were tested at .05 level of significance. The results indicated that students sampled revealed that their level of exposure to technology-based teaching strategies was significantly low. Based on this, certain recommendations were made.
