Profile of Acute Leukemias at Cheikh Zaid International University Hospital in Rabat: Study of 66 Cases.
Abstract
Acute leukemias (AL) are severe malignant hematologic disorders characterized by uncontrolled proliferation of immature hematopoietic cells arrested at an early stage of differentiation in the bone marrow, leading to their spread into peripheral blood and secondary tissues.
This retrospective and descriptive study analyzes the epidemiological, clinical, cytological, immunophenotypic, cytogenetic, and molecular characteristics of 66 patients diagnosed with acute leukemia at the Medical Biology Laboratory of Cheikh Zaid International University Hospital (HUICZ) in Rabat from January 2018 to January 2022.
