Abstract

The previously unknown life-cycles of Cooperioides hamiltoni and Cooperioides hepaticae parasitic in impala, are recorded. Observations on the morphology of the developmental stages of these two nematode species are described and their habitat as well as their similarities and differences are discussed. C. hepaticae was successfully transferred to domestic sheep. Attempts were also made to transmit C. hamiltoni lo sheep.
