Abstract

The use of cloud computing is a resilient approach that permits individuals and businesses to acquire services as needed. The method offers a variety of services, such as platforms for deployment, storage, and simple access to web resources. Cloud companies have difficulty to allocate their workload evenly amongst the servers. An effective Load Balancing approach must maximize utilization and achieve excellent customer experience by making effective usage of VM resources. This paper provides a complete review of six (6) different Load Balancing approaches in both static and dynamic cloud environments to address Response time and general effectiveness.  A thorough assessment among the algorithms is presented, and a research gap is identified need additional study in this topic. In addition, this paper proposes a modification to the Round Robin load balancing method in current research.
