The Impact of Computers, Workforce Agility, and Change-Oriented Work Behavior on Employee Headcount
Abstract
The research aims to identify the role of computers, workforce agility, and change-oriented job behavior in determining the size of employees in organizations after the revolution in information and communications technology and new technologies. Data were collected using a research questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. The questionnaire was distributed to a random sample of 175 individuals working in the public and private sectors in central Baghdad during the last quarter of 2024. The study also used Excel to analyze the questionnaire, and Minitab to analyze the correlations between variables. The analysis revealed a negative inverse relationship between the size of employees as the dependent variable (y) in the organization and the use of computers, workforce agility, and change-oriented job behavior as independent variables (X1, X2, X3). The study utilized some published references and research and presented a number of findings and recommendations.
