The impact of the Nigerian Economic Reforms on the female gender

Abstract

This paper examines the impact of gender inequality on economic growth and poverty eradication. It stresses the need to promote access to microfinance and other poverty alleviation strategies to reduce poverty amongst women and empower them socially, recognising their multiple roles as wives, mothers and managers.
