Perspective: Positioning NIgeria for the Top 20 Economies - the role of institutions

Abstract

Nigeria's aspiration to be among the top 20 economies of the world by 2020 was received with mixed feelings owing to her history of abandoning long term programs. It is against this backdrop that this paper attempts to evaluate the role, place and capacity of existing institutions, and recommends institutional reforms.
