The economic and social role of women from an Islamic vision

Abstract

The objective of this research is to shed light on the role of women in achieving economic and social development, And displaying its position in all aspects of life in the Islamic community as it has some restrictions compared to other societies. The research concluded that Muslim women have played several special and important roles that do not make her any different from their peers of men. From the beginning of the Islamic state, women were the fundamental engine for economic, political, social, and even scientific life. The best evidence for that is the awqaf projects that they established at the beginning of the Islamic State which still bear witness to the position of women in Islamic society to this day, and the modern models of entrepreneur women in several economic sectors.
