Abstract

We report the case of a 28-year-old female patient who presented to our outpatient clinic with hyperpigmented nodules over her skin that developed four months after an episode of varicella-zoster infection. A clinical diagnosis of keloids was made, and the lesions showed noticeable improvement, with a reduction in the size of the targeted lesions after one dose of monthly intralesional injections of triamcinolone acetonide 40 mg, combined with 2% lignocaine hydrochloride in a 1:1 ratio.
