Hypoglycemic and antihyperglycemic activity of <i>Nardostachys jatamansi</i> roots

Abstract

The hydroalcoholic extract of the roots of Nardostachys jatamansi DC, significantly decreased glucose level in normal, glucose loaded and alloxan diabetic (on day 15 and 30) rats as compared to respective control rats.
