Work Environment of Doctors in the Maternity and Infertility Hospitals: An Empirical Study

Abstract

Being happy in one's work can have a significant impact on productivity. People feel energised and motivated to do their best work as a result. But companies compensate doctors according to predetermined norms, and they do so in an atmosphere that isn't always optimal for productivity. This research aims to highlight the effects of Work Environment as a mediating variable on Doctor performance in the Maternity and Infertility Hospitals. Regression analysis was utilised to analyse the data. According to the study, the Organisational support, and Work environment had a major impact on Work environment. Interpersonal relationships and Compensation also had a notable and good effect on the Work Environment of the staff. So, Work environment might operate as a direct mediator between the factors affecting Work Environment and doctor performance.
