Educational changes and innovations in technology for administration in Nigerian schools

Abstract

This study focused on the educational changes and innovations in technology for administration in Nigerian schools. All organizations require constant change and innovation for improvement including the school system. Educational changes are often perceived as being so problematic, but could be seen as the nature of the change in the knowledge, skills and attitude of those involved in education and the way that these changes are expressed in action. Educational reforms involve many aspects like human resources, teaching method and finance. Change and innovation are hard and long-term processes. Any progress in history is the result of change and innovation. This paper thus explored the changes and innovations in technology which is used for administration in the in Nigerian schools. It also discusses the process of change in school cultures and the barriers to these changes and the recommendations which included the administrators’ professionalism in technology. It also has the relevant references.
