Abstract

La présente étude a pour objectif d'analyser les impacts environnementaux, des activités minières aurifères à Morila. La méthodologie repose sur des enquêtes qualitatives et quantitatives menées auprès des autorités et populations, avec des analyses d’eaux et des cartographies d’occupation des sols et hydrographique. Les résultats obtenus ont permis de savoir que les structures physico-chimiques des eaux ne sont pas conformes aux normes tant sur les données qualitatives que quantitatives (82,35%). La déforestation est aussi fortement accrue. Elle pourrait être imputable à la pression démographique impulsée par la mine.

This study aims to analyze the environmental impacts of gold mining activities in Morila. The methodology is based on qualitative and quantitative surveys conducted with authorities and local populations, along with water analyses and land-use and hydrographic mapping. The results obtained revealed that the physicochemical structure of the water does not meet standards, both in terms of qualitative and quantitative data (82.35%). Furthermore, deforestation has increased significantly, and this could be attributed to population pressure driven by the mine.
