Abstract

Cet article étudie d’un point de vue sociologique la socialisation alimentaire à travers l’organisation d’un festival gastronomique. C’est une étude qualitative, elle est basée sur des entretiens semi-directifs avec 27 individus. La question de la valorisation des aliments locaux s’inscrit tantôt comme une revendication identitaire, tantôt comme un moyen de réduction de la consommation des aliments ultra-transformés. La valorisation du patrimoine gastronomique dans la socialisation alimentaire est mise en exergue à travers des productions de discours chez des femmes promotrices des aliments locaux. Ces résultats montrent comment un festival gastronomique et culturel participe à la socialisation alimentaire des enfants.

This article examines food socialization from a sociological perspective through the organization of a food festival. It is a qualitative study based on semi-structured interviews with 27 individuals. The promotion of local foods is sometimes framed as a claim to identity, sometimes as a means of reducing the consumption of ultraprocessed foods. The valorization of gastronomic heritage in food socialization is highlighted through the discourse of women who promote local foods. These results demonstrate how a gastronomic and cultural festival contributes to the food socialization of children.
