Abstract

NThe scientific landscape has continued to be transformed presenting researchers’ new challenges at the global and local levels. ChemSearch Journal charts the way forward by analysing the contours of the new landscape and distilling lessons from our very short past. For a scientific Journal to survive into future the essential prerequisite is the maintenance of high quality standard.

In the light of the above, the editorial board is poised towards the development of a comprehensive framework that would enhance the sustained growth of the ChemSearch Journal. This would include the continued investment in the reviewer resource of the Journal and maintaining the stipulated publication of the series. Maintaining a highly dedicated group of reviewers would also need commitment from the authors as the cost of reviewing articles are on the increase. The general appeal is that authors should be ready to supplement editorial board’s efforts with a view to ensuring that the Journal’s high quality is maintained.

The high quality of edition has greatly impressed the academic world which is manifested in the large number of articles being contributed by researchers. From the topics in this volume, one is encouraged to observe that the editorial efforts of promoting research culture among our scientists are yielding fruitful results. The topics contained are quite eliciting and very educative.

Authors whose articles have not been published in ChemSearch Journal are encouraged to contribute in the future editions.

It is a matter of great joy that this edition is out and the editorial board promises to ensure continued presence of the journal in the academic landscape.
