A multi-stage sampling procedure was used to select eighty (80) respondents for the study. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Data were analysed with percentages, means, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation. The results showed that skill possession in communication was the highest (x̄ = 4.38). Extension personnel were generally satisfied with interactions among employees (x̄ = 3.90) and the responses of farmers to extension work (x̄ =3.65). Extension personnel perceived that extension performances have generally declined. There was a significant negative relationship between years of employment (r = -0.476) and perceived changes in extension performance. The State Government ought to increase financial support for the extension services and initiatives to better prepare, inspire, and assist the staff, while the ADP enhances its connections with universities and the media.
