Recurrent Issues And Problems Of Classroom Instruction

MS Mbia

Abstract

Classroom instruction which is an interactive phenomenon between the teacher, students and instructional resources, is incontestably fundamental to the educational system from whatever perspective. The output of the educational process is measurable principally in terms of students' learning and behavioural outcomes. In spite of the avalanche of literature on all facets of teaching and learning, pertinent issues and problems impacting on effective classroom instruction continue to recur unmitigated as formidable challenges to the classroom teacher. This paper therefore attempts to critically re-examine these issues and problems and to proffer insightful remedies to them.
