Abstract

The study examined the role of stakeholders on health sector building projects implementation at Kigamboni Municipal Council. The study was guided by stakeholders’ theory whereas cross sectional research design was used. The study used simple random sampling technique to select 335 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaire, interview and focus group discussion. To quantitatively analyze the data, binary logistic regression analysis was employed to illustrate the relation between independent and dependent variables. For the qualitative data, content analysis was applied. The study revealed the significance level of 0.05, indicating a statistically significant association between stakeholders’ influence decision making and problem-solving processes during project implementation and project implementation. The odds ratio (Exp(B)) is 0.895, meaning that projects with stakeholders’ influence decision making and problem-solving processes during project implementation are 95.2%. The study concludes that stakeholders play a crucial role in the successful implementation of health sector building projects.
