Involvement of Kinin Kallikrein And Prostaglandin on TAME-ESTERASE Induced Contractions on Rat Aorta In-Vitro

Abstract

The effects of a kallikrein inhibitor and a prostaglandin inhibitor were investigated on TAME-esterase induced  contractions on rat aorta in-vitro. The present findings showed that use of these inhibitors significantly reduced TAME-esterase contractions. Our work is the first to demonstrate involvement of both kinin kallikrein system and the cyclo-oxygenase pathway in the sequence of reactions leading to contractions induced by TAME-esterase.
