The Abraka Humanities Review is interdisciplinary in approach and is adapted to research and scholarship on the African continent and the world. The AHR foregrounds the interrelationship between research in the Arts and Humanities and developments in the African continent. Each volume of well – researched, data – driven academic papers emanate from the annual international conferences of the faculty of Arts as well as calls for papers. AHR cut across all aspects of Arts and Humanities: linguistics, African languages, modern European languages, English language and literature, Fine and Applied Arts, Music, Theatre Arts, Religious Studies and Philosophy, Gender and Diaspora Studies, History and International Studies and popular and Folk Culture.   • Submission Declaration


Article submitted to the Abraka Humanities Review must be original and not under

consideration by another journal. Articles published by AHR should not be published elsewhere in the same form. To ensure originality, submissions to the AHR are checked for plagiarism. For Submissions that are co-authored, a complete list of the authors must accompany the first submission. Only one submission per author will be accepted for publication in each issue. Upon acceptance of a research paper, author(s) will fill out a Publication Agreement Form.
