Advanced Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Letters (AdvPBL) is a publication of the Medicinal Products Research Group, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. It is an international, online, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that provides a platform for scientific publications from all areas of pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences. The journal maintains a rigorous peer review and also ensures the rapid publication of high-quality articles. The following types of submissions are considered by the editors: original research articles, review articles, letters to the editor, case studies, and short communications.
Aims and Scope
Advanced Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Letters (AdvPBL) welcomes submissions in drug discovery and development, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical biotechnology, drug delivery, toxicology, clinical pharmacy, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacogenomics, pharmaceutical microbiology, biomarker research, computational drug discovery, artificial intelligence in pharmaceutical sciences, natural product research, and multi-omics studies that provide pharmaceutical or therapeutic insights.
The journal also welcomes biomedical studies that directly advance pharmaceutical science, including the discovery, development, evaluation, optimization, or clinical application of therapeutic agents, as well as studies of disease mechanisms.
The journal publishes original research and review articles that present novel findings, emerging concepts, innovative methodologies, or significant advances with the potential to accelerate pharmaceutical research and therapeutic innovation. Manuscripts lacking a clear pharmaceutical focus or biomedical significance are outside the journal's scope.
