Information literacy skills as correlates of library user satisfaction among undergraduates in Nigeria
AbstractThis paper examined information literacy skills as correlates of Library user satisfaction among undergraduates in selected university Libraries in Niger Delta Area of Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design and used the stratified and simple random sampling techniques to determine the sample for the study. A total of two hundred questionnaires was administered for this study. The respondents for the study comprised of two hundred (200) undergraduates from selected universities in Niger Delta area of Nigeria. The analysis of the result was done using descriptive statistics. The study revealed that information literacy skills are needed for undergraduates to gain maximum satisfaction in the use of library resources.
