Empirical resea rch, analytical review or techn ical briefs papers are invited for consideration in JATLIM International. Prior to drafting their papers, authors are urged to consult the guidelines, which are as follows:

Length and Format
The text of a JATLIM International paper should not exceed 12 printed pages in a journal. This corresponds to 10-15 total manuscript pages typed double-spaced with 12-point type prepared in Microsoft Word-readable typeface (preferably Times New Romans). The paper title and authors names, with their affiliations, including email addresses, should appear at the top of the first page of the manuscript. This should be followed by an abstract typed with 1.5 line spacing and not exceeding 250 words. Four to six keywords must follow the abstract.

Illustrations and Figures
Figures, tables, charts and diagrams should include titles and be provided with minimum shading and numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals, e.g.: Table 1: Relative popularity of the Informetrics family terminology.

Reference
References should be cited within text in author-date order (current APA Reference Style). Acceptable references include: books, journal articles, dissertations, theses, conference proceedings, reports, and prepublication articles (for these, the journal must be specified).

Method of Submission
Submitting manuscripts implies that the paper is not under consideration in part or in full for publication in any other journal, book or proceedings. All articles for publication should submitted electronically (by email) to: udoyes@yahoo.com or jonachim2000@yahoo.com. All correspondence should be directed to the same e-mail addresses.

Manuscript Review Process
When manuscripts are received, acknowledgement will be sent within 2 working days and it will be forwarded for peer-review. Recommended corrections where necessary should be effected and resubmitted by author(s) within two weeks; the editorial board decision will be made regarding final of the paper. If accepted , the paper will not be published until the processing/publication fee is paid. Two weeks shall be given for the completion of the payment process by author(s) of accepted papers.

Publication Charge
JATLIM International charges a processing fee of 100USD for authors outside Nigeria and N25000 for Nigerian authors. In both cases, there should not be more than three authors. Income from this charge offsets publication costs.
