A Study of the Extent to Which First Year Humanities Students at the University of Botswana Read for Leisure
AbstractIn this paper, we discuss the extent to which selected first year students from the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Botswana read for leisure. From the interviews, questionnaires and observations, students in the Faculty of Humanities do very little reading for leisure. Reading for leisure needs to be encouraged among university students in general as it encourages the acquisition of knowledge and it is also a form of relaxation.
