Developing clients' self-efficacy in career counselling

Abstract

The paper identifies self-efficacy as an important factor in career choice and work performance.It further examines the origin and the effectiveness of self-efficacy in the context of the social cognitive theory of career counseling. It concludes by proffering various approaches through career counseling to enable them choose careers, enter into them and achieve success.
