Peer review
Article Selection Process
Upon receipt of articles, the editorial team and review committees conduct an initial evaluation based on their relevance to the objectives of the issue and the journal's standards, and subsequently submit them to peer review.
Peer Review
All articles, with the exception of editorial content, are subject to peer review (two external reviewers and members of the review committees). The review reports are received by the editorial team. Decisions regarding the publication of articles are final.
Criteria
Submitted articles are evaluated according to the usual criteria:
Regarding content: their scientific value, including the contribution to the field of research studied, the interest and originality of the problem examined, a relevant theoretical framework, an appropriate methodology, particularly for a contribution based on research results;
Regarding knowledge transfer: the interest of the problem, the exhaustiveness and quality of the synthesis with a view to overall understanding and clarity;
Regarding form: the fluidity of the discourse, the correctness of the language and the elegance of the presentation.
Procedures:
Upon receipt of a complete article that meets the journal's presentation guidelines, a member of the editorial team, the review committee, and the secretariat reads it to determine its acceptability. An acknowledgement of receipt is sent to the author, informing them of the article's acceptance and its acceptance for peer review. If the article is rejected, the internal reviewer may suggest desired revisions before resubmission. If the article is accepted, it is then submitted to two scientific reviewers. In case of disagreement between the two reviewers, the article will be submitted to a third.
Upon receiving the reviewers' recommendations, the review committee makes one of the following decisions: publication of the article, publication with minor revisions, publication with major revisions, or rejection. The author is notified by email of the acceptance or rejection of their article. A letter from the journal's editorial team will inform the authors of the reasoned decision.
Authors will have a certain period of time (which varies depending on the submission) to make the necessary revisions.
The revised version is then sent to the editorial team, who forward it to the review committee responsible for the article, which will evaluate the text a second time. The authors may then be asked to make further revisions. If the revisions are not made, the editorial committee reserves the right not to publish the text.
