UMYU Scientifica (USci) employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure fairness, transparency, and high academic standards. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening for scope, formatting, ethical compliance, and originality before being assigned to at least two qualified, conflict-free expert reviewers. These reviewers assess the work based on originality, clarity of objectives, methodological soundness, validity of results, and overall presentation, providing constructive feedback and recommendations. The Editor-in-Chief or Handling Editor makes the final decision guided by reviewers’ reports and journal policies. Authors must address all revision requests within the stipulated time, and revised manuscripts may undergo additional review. Once accepted, manuscripts proceed through copyediting, typesetting, and proofing before publication. Reviewers are required to maintain confidentiality, provide objective and timely evaluations, and disclose any conflicts of interest. USci adheres to COPE and DOAJ best practice guidelines, ensuring all decisions are based solely on scientific merit without influence from institutional or commercial interests. The journal is committed to transparency by clearly outlining its double-blind review model, the number of reviewers involved, and by providing authors with timely decisions and constructive feedback.
