Information concerning the journal Zaria Historical Research (ZAHIR) of the Department of History, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. 

 

  • Articles should not exceed 6000 words and should be accompanied by a short author’s bio data at the end of the references. Book reviews should not exceed 1,500 words.
  • Articles should be written in English and carefully edited before submission. All articles are to be submitted via e-mail and through African online domain.
  • Single quotation marks (‘ ’) should be used for quotations or original text. If the quotation exceeds three sentences, it should be indented. All non-English words must be italicized. 

Intending contributors should send a non-refundable fee of 5,000 Naira. Contributions should be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief ZAHIR, Department of History, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

  • Contributions should be typed in Times Roman 12 font, doubled spaced with ample margins and on one side of A4 size paper. The title of the article, author’s name and institutional address (including e-mail) should appear on the first page of the paper.
