Charges

Every article accepted for publication after peer review will be charged a fee of 190 USD. This fee will only apply after the paper has been reviewed and accepted. When submitting a manuscript authors should clearly indicate they are aware and willing to comply with this requirement when invoiced. Author Agreement Form (download from link).

Peer Review

The manuscripts submitted to the journal of Applied Biosciences will be peer reviewed. This journal uses double-blind review, where both the reviewer and author identities will be  concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.

Open Access Policy

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print and  search without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

The Journal of Applied Biosciences provides a forum for scholars and practitioners in all spheres of biological sciences to publish their research findings or theoretical concepts and ideas of a scientific nature.

Plagiarism is defined as a paper reproducing  another authors  work with at least high similarity and without citation.
JABS reviewers actively cross check  submitted articles for plagiarism. If there is sufficient proof of plagiarism  before acceptance  of the paper, the article is rejected immediately and the author is notified. If  there is sufficient proof of plagiarism  after acceptance  of the manuscript  the author will bear any  legal consequences. The manuscript will be retracted and the author stopped from publishing papers in JABS.  Some of the tools used to check for plagiarism  among others are   http://plagiarisma.net/, http://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/
