About the Journal
The journal is the official publication of the College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Each academic staff member of the College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin, pays One Thousand Naira (N1,000) annually to support the publication of the journal. Each member of the College receives free hardcopy of the published journal editions. Authors are charged publication fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000) or Fifty Dollars($50) for each article accepted for publication.
All papers are double blind reviewed by at least two assessors in the related discipline. However the final decision to accept or reject any manuscript will be made by the Editor-in-Chief. The Tropical Journal of Health Sciences accords special interest and high priority to: original work; research and training innovations and clinical observations. Reviews take between 2-4 weeks, depending on response of reviewers. Keynote, viewpoint and correspondence are reviewed by one reviewer or the journal editor/s.
Quarterly – January, April, July and October.
