Illustrations/Figures

All necessary illustrations such as photographs, diagrams and charts should be referred to as figures and be given Arabic numerals numbered consecutively in the order in which they appear in the text. All figures should appear in the text each a numbered title beneath it. For example, Figure 1: Student statistics by sex and school. Titles of figures should appear at the top of the figures but outside the figures. Source of figures should also be provided.

Referencing 
In-text citations should be quoted as follows: Kaleo and Bawumia (2004) or (Kasise, 2000) or (Dery & Agana, 2012).  Page numbers should be provided for direct quotes, for example (Kaba, 2000: 12). Names of multiple authors should be cited as (Kaleo et al., 2004), as Kaleo et al. (2002).  A full reference list capturing author name, year of publication, title of work, edition or volume if any, and city and state of publication as well as publisher name, in that order. This should be typed in double space at the end of the paper in alphabetical order as follows:

Sectioning
 
Headings and subheadings should be in bold print and presented as follows: Level 1-BOLD UPPER CASE; Level 2- Bold Lower Case; Level 3- Bold Lower Case Italics.

Fonts, Formats, Size
Manuscripts, in English only, must be typewritten with a font size of 12pt double-spaced on A4 paper in Times New Roman and should be between 6,000 to 8,000 words. The margins of manuscripts should be specified as: Left = 1.5"; Bottom = 1"; Right =1"; Top =1". The body text should be JUSTIFIED and Headings should be LEFT aligned.
